The Fair Digest recognizes that your privacy is important. This privacy policy as set out below applies to The Fair Digest’s sites, services, mobile applications (if applicable), products, and content (“Services”). It also has information about how we store, use, transfer, and delete that information. Our aim is not just to comply with privacy laws but to earn your trust when using our sites or services.  This privacy policy pertains to services provided by The Fair Digest on the domains and any sub domains ending in thefairdigest.com.

Age Related Policy:

The Fair Digest content is specifically targeted at adults over the age of 18 years (which is the legal age in the countries we operate in). This however does not prevent a parent or legal guardian from giving their express permission to the person under the age of 18 years to access our content/services. We, at The Fair Digest however accept no responsibility for any action arising from a decision we were not party to or that we never agreed upon. Whilst we at The Fair Digest undertake the necessary precautions against underage children accessing our site, we are willing to assist any parent or legal guardian with restricting access to the site should it be established that access to the site was gained without parental or legal guardians consent. The Fair Digest reiterates though that though we may co-operate with the parent and or legal guardian we accept no responsibility in that but would try and assist as a matter of courtesy.

Personal Information Policy:

As The Fair Digest is a subscription based platform, we understand and are aware that we receive personal information such as email addresses and as such we wish to assure our users that the information stored (the email addresses) remain with us and is NOT given to any third party outside of The Fair Digest. The information is used to welcome you to the site, to assist you should you have trouble logging on or have forgotten passwords, to assess how many months you have signed up for so we can give you the best, experience possible when using our site. We may periodically send you a mail should we at The Fair Digest wish to inform you about specials we may have running or to warn you about spam or potential threats (If possible)

In the event of our site being hacked, we will endeavor as soon as possible to secure it and notify you via email (if possible) to change your details. We use encryption (HTTPS) to protect data transmitted to and from our site. However, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee security. You use the service at your own risk, and you’re responsible for taking reasonable measures to secure your account. The Fair Digest will never send you unwarranted emails, nor ask you divulge any personal information such as banking details, physical addresses, contact numbers or identity/social security numbers.

Should we at The Fair Digest allow advertisements on our platform, please note that The Fair Digest is not responsible for the cookies a 3rd party may set. We use PayPal as a payment process for subscribers and they have their own privacy policy and security measures in place when you transact with them via our platform. The Fair Digest via PayPal uses debit and credit cards as a method of payment from users. This information is stored by them in order to prevent fraud and abuse. 

Collected Information Policy:

At The Fair Digest, any information we may collect from you will not be disclosed to any external organization or vendor except automatically collected information (please refer to 3rd Party cookies above) No manually collected information will ever be disclosed without notifying you and obtaining consent.

Information Usage Policy:

The Fair Digest stores information about users only to improve our services and for peace of mind for users. All data collected is stored securely off site in an encrypted format. No data will ever be given to marketing companies or those wanting to send bulk mail advertising. Whilst every precaution is taken to secure the information we receive from you, all data transmitted to The Fair Digest is done so at your own risk. Should you wish to delete your personal information, you may delete your account with The Fair Digest. In the event of this happening, it may take up to 14 working days to erase your information (unless we are expressly required by law enforcement not to do so)

This Privacy Policy may from time to time be updated without notice. The effective date of the last change will always be displayed on the top of the page as “Last Modified.” If any significant changes are done that will impact your use of the platform, we will post an announcement on the Home Page.
